Remember the apple pips I sowed last year

Well here they are two little apple trees growing really well. I know I will probably never see apples on them but nice to know I got them growing. 
The son of a friend of ours once planted pips from granny smiths, he was only about 10 or 11 years old he gave one to us very proud of them and we did plant it, 10 years it grew and then we got 1 apple from it, not many more, I seem to remember it blew down in a high wind a couple of years later.

Busy shopping today, then when we had taken Tanzy a walk we called at the nursery and I got some Geraniums, packs of 4 were £2.99 each but if you bought 6 packs, which I wanted, it was £15 so I saved just short of £3 They are really well grown and ready to transplant, I got 3 red, 1 purple (which is more a cerise colour)2  Pink and 2 packs of mixed. It was really busy.
