Hairy monkey cactus

I started a four day watercolour painting course at Glasgow’s botanic gardens today. We got to walk round the very impressive glass houses and I have selected this interesting specimen from the cactus collection for my project tomorrow. Watch this space!
Another gorgeous day with many people picnicking and sunbathing in the gardens.
