Only three…Alliums

Last autumn I bought quite a few new bulbs from local garden centre and some from the Radio Times. In previous years I have bought some from Sarah Raven and although expensive they have always been excellent. My garden centre ones…usually lots of tete a tete are also fine. All the bulbs from the Radio Times were not as good ( they were noticeably smaller) including these alliums…only 3 have flowered!

This morning I went to a very early Pilates class, 7.45am on the recommendation of a friend. It was a good instructor and OK in the summer but when it’s dark I don’t think I will be keen!

I then went on the train to Windsor to meet a friend for lunch..but took no photos. Nice and sunny there but we were the only ones having coffee in the riverside pub at 11am!

A very warm day 23/24C so lots of watering needed at home and at the allotment.
