Back on Home Ground

Beautiful late sun on the River Derwent as it flows through Matlock, Derbyshire.
The trees are looking really good but the level of the water keeps dropping. No rain for a long time now and none forecast. There must still be plenty of fish, you can see them rising for the insects. I heard a kingfisher call, really close by, but I couldn't see it!
