Deja vu...
Having been impressed with our lunch at the cafe at Blair Drummond Smiddy Farm shop recently, we returned there today to have lunch with our friends Keith and Mairi.
Once again the food was outstanding. Venison burgers for D and Keith, harissa chickpea salad for Mairi and Coronation chicken sandwich for me. D and Keith couldn't resist the cakes afterwards. I have put a shot of them in extras. Orange and poppy seed (top) for D and Victoria sponge for Keith.
I would love to have hung around after lunch and peruse the lovely shop but we had to head home as D had to take the car to Perth to have the winter tyres taken off. While he did that I spent some time with Alan and did some general tidying up.
D returned and we spent a little while in the garden watering the newly planted tubs then deciding where to put them. Another job ticked off the list. I am now finalising the itinerary for Blip Pal P's visit. I've had it written out for ages but typing so I can easily share it with her. Looking forward to picking her up at Prestonfield House Hotel tomorrow and having lunch there. The start of a week of adventures :-))
On the way back from the Cafe we passed this little clump of trees that I used to blip fairly regularly when we first moved to this neck of the woods. No camera shot today, just a phone pic as we sped past. The conifers in the background have sprung up in the intervening years, but I suppose that's the point of them.
