How much fun can you have in one day?

We started painting the fence around the patio area this morning. Because it is all new panels the first coat just soaked in and despite what it says on the tin, two coats is not enough. The third coat makes all the difference.

Early afternoon John (from the Alpine Garden Society which Callum is a member of) came to visit with a gift of some pre loved rockery stones.

They were put into the wheelbarrow for the time being and for ease of transportation.

So I’ve taken a grand total of two photos today. The paint drying on the fence and the rockery stones. To round off my day of excitement I’ve used Snapseed to create a double exposure image.

Actually I’ve just realised I did take a third picture. In extras. This was to send to son Greg to show him what his dad has been doing today :-)
