Another first.

We were, for a change, at Thacka beck reserve.  NO great show avian life, well shootable any way. Several Mallards, a few each of (UNshootable) Swallows, Swifts & House Martins plus a few Gulls.
BUT
Three plants I'd either not seen for years or didn't know.  A distant light green patch with "red" Flowers"
Turned out to be a patch of Water Avens in front of Some unknown.  Unknown turned out to be "Crosswort"; or Lady's Bedstraw as I learnt it from Mam. And, above. I asked Jerra "Is that a vetch?"  TOO far for easy recognition.  His Phone ID-ed it as "Bush Vetch" = the one I'd not heard of.
