55+ Fish Fry And Mini-Concert

The 55+ group gathered at FBC for a fish fry tonight. The church provided the fish which was cooked for us by a wonderful group of volunteers!  We brought side dishes and desserts and enjoyed much laughter and conversation.  After the meal, we were treated to a mini-concert by our men's Southern Gospel group, Aire To The Throne.  My younger brother is the guy in the middle of the group and has written many of the songs they sing.  They put a great ending on a marvelous night for those of us who were able to be there......Van took a few minutes at the very end of the evening to talk about his project involving an art piece containing three wooden crosses that he makes to give away to anyone who wants one to remind us of what Jesus did for us on the cross.......
