Wide Wednesday - Water

Todays ride took us over the Whangamoas which is rather good on the bike even with the reduced speed limit that hardly anyone take any notice of but it took us past Nelson Haven and as the tide was up a Blip was appropriate. In the back ground can be seen the Port with just a single ship in collecting logs, Corio Bay - 175 metres x 29 metres, all the land that can be seen in the distance is reclaimed.

Lunch was at Canvastown in the Trout Hotel a round trip of 163 kms, 100 miles.

The weather was very good with 12c seen on the way there and 17c on the way back.
