Joe arrived at 8 again today so let him in and agreed the days work - need to make sure we can keep the cats indoors and also away from wet paint. He took the two internal doors outside and started to sand them- which took a lot longer than we thought- and had a shower and pottered around for a bit. Went to Hobby craft for some thread for tomorrow and then had some lunch. Carried on with the bunting in the afternoon- my sewing machine start d to play up a bit- and then cut the grass and did a big watering session in the garden. The internal doors needed to be left open overnight as they weren’t completely dry so I was expecting a disturbed night as the cats roamed the house. As it happened they were very good and left me completely alone until 6.30 and even then were very polite!
