There ................

 ............. was a conifer - now there isn't.

Will the Tree Man cometh - with his two sidekicks - after a thorough check that there were no bird nests - down came the three-trunked conifer that had started to lean.  They also pruned some very wayward branches from both cherry trees and the cooking apple tree in the back garden and also the silver birch in the front garden.

Much lighter in the back garden now - and lighter in my pocket!!!!!!
