Another visit to the Bowls Club today! Mr W marked a club knockout competition this morning - I didn't go as I was having my hair cut - and then back this evening for a Top Club competition. Every club in the county can enter and in the first round, we drew Portishead, possibly the best club in the whole of Somerset. It started out wet but the weather improved as the evening went on. Our club lost but we gave them a scare. We also gave them supper, which they enjoyed so much that they didn't leave until gone 9:30 for a 1.5-hour drive home!
