Aldeburgh, on the Suffolk coast

A beautiful day for a trip to the seaside.

We travelled by coach and the weather was with us.

It turned into a rather long day. Unfortunately one of the group had a fall on the concrete promenade hitting her head and damaging her shoulder. This was just outside the RNLI centre so help was at hand as lifeboat crews are well trained and have equipment to hand. However we had a long delay waiting for an ambulance which eventually arrived and the lady was taken off to the hospital in Ipswich.

We missed our time to explore Woodbridge but were impressed by the coach driver's care of his injured passenger.

A day to remember. ( it was the 13th)
