Flooding

Rain started to fall this morning and didn't stop. By the afternoon, there were flood warnings for the entire western Maryland region. Some roads were washed out, homes and schools evacuated, and there was debris all over the place.

We were fine. Our neighborhood was mostly OK, though a street two blocks away turned into a small creek for a few hours.

The main photo is water and debris in what is normally a tranquil creek near a shopping center in La Vale, a few miles from home. Several roads in that area were closed.
