Les Diablerets (Little Devils) Peak

This mountain is not often photographed from this angle, there are many other more impressive mountains around. This morning Les Diablerets looked ethereal in the early morning light as the sun came up behind it. "Those Blue Remembered Hills," is a quote that often springs to mind when walking the mountains in the early morning,if from a poem by A. E. Housman, A Shropshire Lad. 1896 for literary interest.

Best viewed through binoculars.

Even though the rest of the day was spent going in and out of fog, we had a wonderfully dramatic walk on the hills below the Dents du Midi.

Thanks so much to all of you who sent the Jersey Tiger Moth to the spotlight yesterday.
