Back o' Thirlmere
Another cloud-free day, but really windy. I dropped Deb off for a run at Dunmail Raise, continued on to Grasmere, which had white horses on it, so came back to the back of Thirlmere. Both the main pic and the extra were taken from underneath a wooden footbridge somewhere between Armboth and the South end of the lake.
The position was a touch tenuous, and probably wouldn't be accessible in wetter conditions, but I managed to climb down, and reach up for my tripod, camera and filters. A polariser was used for both images, and a grad was needed on the main pic to stop the sky from blowing out, as the contrast ratio was pretty extreme.
