Notes: Woke around 430a again and laid there for awhile but there was no going back to sleep. Got up a little after 5a, took a quick rinse-off shower and wet my bedhead. Continued the packing and wrapping everything up as well as the dogs out-feed-short walk. Still rainy. Washed the sheets and towels and did decide to make a mushroom coffee w/ cream and a small amt of butter - was able to get to the few things to make a basic morning cuppa. Tired but not feeling quite as rough and out of it today ... having the phone in working order to get me back and to connect is huge! Still hard to believe how fast the 6 wks went tho looking back, feels like I've been here much longer. The drive back was nearly constant rain but not too heavy until I hit VA - took it slow and easy as my GPS had me arriving into Ashburn ~1030a. Went right to Trader Joe's and used the bathroom and got a couple things - ate on protein bar right away. On to the Kaplan's then and picked up the pkg that was sent there after I left. Looked at gas as it was $2.99 right as I hit the state line but the place I was thinking was the same as PA so kept going to Michelle Dion's. A bit of time to jump on computer - very tired! Was there till 130p and then headed to Michelle's, have my own key (she's in office today), parked in her spot. Had quite a few trips but did get help from 2 diff people bringing stuff up the steps, one was Julie from 3rd floor w/ the 2 orange tabby cats - Frankie and Finley. Still a million things to do to unpack and try to get organized. Worked straight thru till Michelle got back and after she left again for Michelle Dion's. Got a fair amount done but still lots. Had to stop, warmed up some of the beef/zucchini/kale mixture - kind of sad to not have dogs to feed and walk and watch that I don't leave anything near them they can eat/drink/tear apart! Has been a big transition today and still fighting w/ the phone - it is not my friend so far! Michelle got back around 715p, kept unpacking and organizing for awhile and then finally made a Calm hot cocoa drink and relaxed.
