Quiet

Up early to avoid the crowds on the tube.

The office was a bit quiet and dull today. Luckily my young padawan was in, so we had a laugh and a joke. Another two of the team were also in and they successfully got us through one of those annoying external audits.

We've discovered a new place for lunch as well. So, we shall be sampling more over the coming weeks. We went looking for an ice cream later, but couldn't find anywhere. Well, not vegan ones.

Homeward bound later and some drama on the train. First up, they called boarding whilst I'd gone off to get some food and I can hardly run at the moment. Plus my carriage was half way down the platform. Lol! Then it was guess the carriage because they hadn't put up the carriage details. I took a punt that mine was half way. Sat down in what I thought was my seat and then it came up that it was a different carriage, and then lo and behold it changed to the right carriage. And then just as we were about to leave Paddington the train manager said that all the toilets in the back five carriages weren't working. I was in the front, so I was ok. When we got to Reading there were people running down the platform to get to the front five carriages. They were clearly desperate for a pee. Lol!

No further train dramas and I enjoyed myself reading my book.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  A fun day with my young padawan
2.  For being in the right carriage and with working toilets. Lol!
