The Dog Roses are all out, all at once, with bushes with multiple buds on at the same time as beautiful blooms - see extras too. There are differing varieties and they are prolific along the coastal paths, as welll as in field hedgerows.Thanks for hosting Wild Flower Week Miranda.  

It has been a beautiful summer's day and a productive one pottering about in the garden. The starlings are out in force gobbling up anything they find on the bird feeders. I love their busy squawking. These are just parents to-ing and fro-ing. They will be accompanied by the youngsters soon no doubt. There are also black birds, blue tits and dunnocks which are feisty enough to get their share of food too,
