Glowing

There are masses of these cheerful poppies in the garden right now. I love them.

I started on the gardening first thing this morning, while it was still cool. Planted out all my beans - runner, dwarf and purple climbing. Maybe there’s time to sow another batch of seeds…I wanted to get them done earlier than usual as the runner beans are usually just coming on when the first frost arrives! Such a short growing season.

I had a wee walk in the late afternoon. There were timber lorries on one side of the valley and silage collecting tractors on the other. It’s gone quiet now.

I have sent D out to pick some rocket and then we’ll have our tea :-)
