WI meeting In Casterton

I spent most of the day asleep. I had a hospital appointment for an infusion and the concoction included something that makes you sleepy. The day started early as I can’t get to the hospital for 9am so needed transport. I was picked up at 7.30am. I got home at 3pm, then had 2 more hours sleep on the sofa. This was so that I was ready to attend an event for the Lune Valley WI Group that includes Sedbergh WI. We had a really interesting talk on leatherwork and saddlery from Hattie Crabtree. She had an amazing selection of work to show us and talked her time working in this industry. We then had a buffet style supper an enjoyable evening.
