Dumfries House

It wasn't quite so warm today so a car journey to Cumnock and a visit to Dumfries House. A visit always starts with coffee and a shared scone before we start our walk.

Conditions were very pleasant and we wandered slowly through the arboretum to the Walled Garden. The gardeners were busy working in a couple of new plots, replacing edging etc.

Then we headed to Dumfries House itself but only to admire from the outside. An ice cream and then we headed for home.
