Athens

We arrived in Athens at 7 am this morning.  The tour group arranged to shuttle us to our downtown hotel.  After dropping off our stuff, we walked, stopped for coffee, and later a yogurt lunch.  We took out and sat on someone’s steps to enjoy eating and people watching.  When our room become ready, we had a brief rest before dinner and an early night.

The last time I was in Athens was 1965.  I recognize some of the iconic sites, but not everything between them.  It is now a city of 5 million people.
