Trixie's Adventures

Constantine to Scott's Quay & other stuff!!!

We went off on another adventure today.................. I'm loving our, 'I Walk Cornwall' walks'. We walked for almost 5 miles with our friend, Charlotte, from 'Constantine down to Scott's Quay' and then back up the creek to Constantine. It was such a lovely walk and the best thing was........... I was off my lead for most of it. Yay!

This afternoon I had a bit of snooze time while Ann went to Tesco, and then she said, 'Trixie, this weather is fabulous. I'm going to go to Porthgwidden Beach for a swim and I need you to come with me, because I need to know if I can trust you on the beach alone when there's loads of other people around.'

DUH!!!!!

Of course she can trust me. Ann stripped off, left all her stuff by a rock, and then swam out to the buoys. Initially, I sat by the waters edge, but then I got a bit bored so I went to the rock where Ann's stuff was and just lay and guarded it. …........Obviously when Ann is in the sea, she is keeping an eye on me, but then some random woman kept photographing me. Probably to post me on 'lost dog Cornwall'. So then Ann felt she had to come out of the sea to explain that I wasn't an abandoned doggie. Seriously??!! Anyone with an ounce of common sense could see that I was guarding my human's stuff.

…................Moving swiftly on.............. if anyone has been following our RANTS re TalkTalk/EDF/DirectLine and any other utility/ins companies that we are involved with.................... Nothing has been resolved yet.

Today we have had six missed calls from' TalkTalk' (my human doesn't answer calls if she doesn't recognise the number) and four emails telling us that they're sorry to lose us and they can give us a really good deal.  ..................Ehhhhhhh no you can't?!!

.....................Oh and she's also had text messages from EDF requesting meter readings for our Edinburgh flat and letters saying that we need to change the meter due to the RTS system being redundant. Seriously?!!!  You couldn't make it up??!!

PS - My human is fully aware that anyone reading this BLIP hasn't a clue what we're going on about, but we use BLIP as a diary of our life and we are having major challenges with a lot of our utility companies atm.

Will update on BLIP in due course.
