Crinodendron
I love our crinodendron bush and hope this dry weather won't harm it. I gave it a very good watering yesterday.
Terry was feeling a little better today. He is still on two intravenous antibiotics, oramorph liquid and IV paracetamol for pain. He has been for CT scan again! I was a bit concerned that he has had 3 CT scans in 2 days (re the radioactivity) but he must need them.
Doctor came in this afternoon to take more bloods after the dietitian / nutritionist had seen Terry. He is still struggling to eat.
They have confirmed that the cholangitis has spread infection throughout the area and that he has pancreatitis and the doctor told him the infection blood test (CRP) is still surprisingly high but his liver function tests continue to improve.
I left a bit before the end of afternoon visiting as I could tell that he was weary and needing to rest / nod off and managed to just miss the 89 bus (it takes ages to cross the road as you cannot cross straight to the bus stop and have to negotiate 4 pelican crossings). Had a little look in the park there to pass some time then went to the bus stop ready for the 16:01 bus which came at 16:11. When it should have turned right up Scholes Lane heading near my home, it continued on then turned right onto Prescot Road. I said to the woman in front, "Aren't we going the wrong way?!" She replied, "There is some sort of diversion but I don't know why." I pressed the stop button for the next stop but he sailed past it and the one after, only stopping at Carmel College which left while I was waiting for the 89 but didn't get them as the nearest stop to home is the stop before Carmel College (a shorter walk than the 89 left me with).
What a cr*p bus service this 89 is, grrrr. I am sure there was a good reason for the diversion but when I checked the time of the next bus there was nothing at all on the app about a diversion!
