Stiffening silk

These beautiful colours aren’t t ones dyed by me, but pieces I’ve collected over the years, many from Sudbury.
As I’m going to be doing lots of flower making, and the weather was warm, I had a bumper session of stiffening fabric in preparation. As taught by a royal milliner, I use Evostick diluted with water, and when the silk dries, it feels like crepe paper
