Liberty Hall

It is 150th Anniversary of LIberty’s and they have celebrated it in a very LIberty way including this installation of a patchwork tent in the upper halls.  I caught the 8.15 train to get in for a call with a writer and then had a coupe of relatively big meetings in terms of status and number of attendees.  Both went well I think.

Arrived back in Petersfield  early evening and walked to Jono and Sue’s house.  The old almshouse at the junction of Swan and Charles st is always a place I see swifts and this time I spotted several going in and out of the eaves where presumably they have nests.  They are surprisingly large birds when they briefly pause their flights.  Jono says Petersfield has quite a big population and there is some conservation work. Our half cousins Sara and Anne were there and we had a jolly dinner.  The extra is from their earlier visit to Mum’s.
