Deserted

Went through to Glasgow in the afternoon, accidentally taking the scenic route via Shotts etc. Ach well, the hotel was v close to Glasgow Central. Was there to attend an MU meeting tomorrow, with dinner the night before. The food was reasonable, there was a tab at the bar - but most of us were quite restrained (I put it down to age....). Met some nice and interesting folk. On my way back to my room I was struck by this vast deserted space - our party fitted into a much more modest room.
