Today's high 24C

Surprisingly comfortable today. Perhaps because I only went out around 4:30 when it was cooler.

Spent all morning with EE (they finally sent an excellent Open Reach engineer). Was showered for 8am - early for me. He came at 09:45'ish and left ca. 3 hours later. Thorough check in and outside. Concluded there was a fault in the wiring between 2 rooms here. Looked like he would have to surface wire over a large distance. Luckily he came up with an alternative. Back to the same decent speeds I had before the BT>EE transfer, suggesting the engineer who came at the time did 'something' to interfere. Good news everything works again!

Met Mr B after a routine echocardiogram at the local hospital. Seems all OK. Met him after at Weatherspoon - blipped the hedge on the walk down. .

Watched Michael Portillo visiting Pinner and the Heath Robinson Museum (BBC incorrectly says it's in nearby Hatch End. Our street parties raised over £1k towards the building, and is listed on a plaque there, and I was given free Life membership (as the ring-leader!).

He then visited Bradford and Hebdon Bridge. Think once Scotland is booked up and we've been - Leeds and Bradford area beckon (and David Hockney!).
