Water Hawthorn (Aponogeton distachyos)

In the morning I washed the car.  I do it once every 10 years whether it needs it or not!  We are heading up to Edinburgh tomorrow and it seemed a good idea to take a clean car.

The afternoon was spent with Kanyl.  I got through a number of jobs for him, his limited movement makes a number of jobs either very difficult or impossible.  While near his pond he remarked he hadn't seen any froglets yet.  I decided I would do a blip of the Water Hawthorn so got down close to the water.  Then I realised why he hadn't seen any froglets.  His tadpoles ares till very small no where near the stage where they start to grow legs.
