Back to work on Porty garden and finally decided this area which used to be a children’s swing, long rotten and now gone, is going to be a sitooterie.
Complete suntrap despite the owners protestations and looking forward to transforming it.
Options were just grass - they’re not big on maintaining

A wee gravelled area with beds surround - yup that’s what we’re going for.si I marked up and built the beds then dug out all the fence posts and old earth that was lying on the defunct weed suppressant. Fingers crossed we could reuse but after 20 years it’s rather sieve like so will need to replace that too.
Hoping to get 3?4? Tons of gravel next week for the big TADA moment in time for them coming home from holiday.
All this work in scorching sunshine led tk a silly migraine, didn’t drink enough water! So it was a feeble evening watching Race Across the World. Really fancy Nepal but perhaps not so much the mad busy India.
