……….. at the car wash today ;-)

Picked up the shopping from the click and collect, then home to unpack.

After that I headed in a different direction to a main post office and the nearby hand car wash.
I need to renew my photo driving license ( my 10 years is up ), so I attempted the process online yesterday - it all started so well and I stupidly thought it was going to be really easy. After I had jumped through many hoops and was well into the process the site suddenly and unexpectedly said it couldn’t verify my identity ( despite taking all my current passport details ) and I had to go to a main post office to do that, grrrrrr. I wasn’t able to go back or start again, so I had no choice, humph :-/
Anyway, the nearest one is more than 10 miles away with no real parking but was probably my best option.
The chap did all the bits and pieces ( once he could get a mobile signal) and now I have to wait for an email from them to continue and hopefully complete the process……….. I’m sure it wasn’t anything like as difficult to do it last time I had to renew - isn’t technology wonderful, not !!

On the plus side it was close to a car wash, so my very grubby car is nice and sparkling again ;-)
