Great blue heron and the red wing blackbird

Today was a cloudy mild day. When I went for my walk in the park I was greeted by a hungry red wing blackbird. But as I got close to the lakes edge I saw a great blue heron in the bulrush. When they are there they are hunting for frogs and baby birds. The red wing black birds nest in the bulrush. So they will attack the the heron to try and get them to move. It did not work however but I think the nest was hidden well enough.
