Rhododendron

This is a low growing, early blooming rhododendron. It is not quite in full bloom yet.
We spent the day on one of my new properties. Lots of raking and weeding to be done, plus there is a spirea hedge along the driveway. I started trimming it, it needs a lot of work. The beds have all been edged. Hopefully we will get back in 2 weeks and get some mulch spread.
The guys doing a new pathway next door were actually there today. I guess they showed up for a half day, then had to go and start another job, because they were overbooked. I really don't like companies like that, especially when the customer expects them to finish before moving on to another job. Plus it means that my part of the renovations are on hold until the pathway is finished. The client has completely renovated their house and it meant the front garden was removed, except for a Japanese maple. I get to build the new garden and choose the plants to go in it.
Two more days and I will be on my weekend away.
