Shoe Trauma

I had to take B on his annual shoe shopping trip today. He makes his shoes last a year regardless of whether they fit or not. School shoes first in a well known store, who had 2 people dressed in Daisy and Jack (shoe characters)suits outside the store, who immediately waved at B, who was extremely embarrassed. Then they walked into the store behind him, and waved again as they passed, B's scarlet in the face by this time. Off to good start then. It gets even better as an assistant brings out some size 9's and can't understand why they're too small, I had to point out he needs adult sizes, not infant ones. Luckily we're sent to the men's department, as his feet are now too big, and receive excellent service and also manage to buy some shoes! He was annoyed to find one foot is a whole size bigger than the other, and accused me of passing on a genetic mutation of his feet! Good thing most things are said with a laugh and his silly cheesy grin! We've even managed to get him a pair of trainers today as well, so no need to go again hopefully for another year, it's not a pleasant experience and I don't think B could stand the stress!

Another day of rubbish weather, I'm not getting very far with the washing before we go on holiday, and apparently it's constant torrential rain in Porthmadog this week. If it doesn't improve soon I'm going to run out of flowers to blip in the garden!
Osteospermum just opening, I like the colours of this, but it will be purple when it opens completely.
