Village green

The day started with me realising that I forgot to put the sourdough mix in the fridge last night, so I quickly turned on the oven and then baked a loaf. It looked excellent when it was done but for some reason seemed under baked when eating it, which was disappointing. That’s two in a row that haven’t gone to plan.
Spent most of the rest of the day sorting out the boxes in the stables.
We decided to stretch our legs by going for an early evening drink in the Brewers, and this photo was taken as we walked across the village green. It was pleasant in the pub but not many people were there.
It was good to get out for an hour or so.
