Wednesday: Urban Gardening

Today passed very quickly.  I started the day by making a load of mini meatballs for both dinner and to have in the freezer (please continue to admire my domestic prowess).  I took a bit of time out of that to have a call with someone who is interested in my former job in Belize - I was surprised how much work content I remembered…….

We then went to Wickes to pick out some tiles for the front garden which we are having paved.  From there to B&Q to pick up some gardening supplies and plants.

Back home where I made up the sauce to go with the meatballs and for K to plant out our new acquisitions.

We had just finished dinner when our new neighbour, who has just recently moved in, came to pick up a parcel we’d taken in for her.  She came in for a drink which turned our evening into quite a late one…….
