Dakers

Fronds Unfurling.

The large Dryopteris filix-mas fern has begun to unfurl and is progressing quite quickly.

This particular Fern is located on the path from the ‘Cactus’ car and the vestry entrance door. It is quite a presence.

Apparently the rhizomes are toxic.

Pat wondered if I could split this example in two. I suspect that is now beyond my physical capabilities. There are ferns all over our garden.

It really is time that I started to take the lawnmower for a walk and cut down two dead lilacs. Of course there is much more than that to be done.

The weather is quite dry and I am now watering various herb beds and flower pots.
