The Woodland Garden (Wednesday 14th May 2025)

Seen from my upstairs study window, it is time for the annual blip of my favourite garden tree, my smoke tree (cotinus coggygria 'Royal Purple'). It spreads over a garden table and takes the place of a parasol with its beautiful sheltering leaves.
