Copper
D left early for Granton - although at least he got a lift this week. I went up to Montgomery St for my 6-monthly check-up - Ross was extremely complimentary about the state of my teeth/lack of plaque etc. He insisted on getting a mirror out to show me middle section of my lower jaw, which is apparently where most people get a build-up. In times gone by we agreed that he would have given me a lollipop!
Home via the allotment, courtesy of the no 34 bus route. Watered, dug up old purple sproutings and endured much nagging from the sparrows since I hadn't brought any food and they'd finished everything that D gave them yesterday!
The copper beech on the corner of Prospect Bank has just fully opened out its leaves - it's glorious. Photo doesn't really do it justice.
