I have been having some problems on my desktop, and my virus protection runs out tomorrow ! So popped down to our local and independent computer store, who are brilliant and asked for some advice. " Get rid of Kapersky and use Winows defender instead. "Also try disconnecting some of your external drives "
I got home and uninstalled Kapersky and disonected 3 large external drives.
So the machine is starting up so much quicker and my sound card has started working again, hence the image . I had bought a cheap USB speaker for the sound with no control other than volume. Wonderful to have full base again :-)
I shall put the USB speaker in my laptop case, so not wasted money :-)
