Pigeon sentry

As I'm walking along minding my own business, a piece of old moss comes flying down and lands just in front of me. I look up and it's a pigeon having a laugh!

I visited the Coot family on the Slipper Mill Pond and there are now four chicks. Losing one of the five is not bad going I guess. The Canada geese have taken their four goslings off somewhere yet to be discovered!

The weather turned rather dull today and the wind must be coming from Siberia! But then at least the indoor chores were done and it's curry for dinner.
