A Sunny Field

Cato had a traumatic morning. He wanted to be out as usual on a lovely sunny morning but he couldn't because he had to go off to a new holiday hotel. Our plans changed because I received an appointment to see my diabetes consultant at short notice although it's a routine appointment. So we'll leave tomorrow after that rather than today. He seemed to settle in there very well so I was quite pleased. We had to look for an alternative as his usual place did have space on this occasion.

On my way home I stopped at this field which looked so good in the morning sunshine. You might notice the back view of the trees that often show up in my local photos.

At home I've been quite excited to see house sparrows in the garden over the last two days. We've been trying to encourage them with nest boxes for years. I'm not holding my breath but fingers are crossed.
