Flag Iris and little hoverfly

My day started with the COVID booster .... only given to those who have reached a certain age! Completely painless .... the best yet and no need to join a queue.

After my jag I headed over to Maxwell Park to check on the swan situation ..... no change, the female is still on the nest but with so much growth on the island it is quite difficult to see her.

In among the reeds there are a few Flag Irises beginning to bloom.
