Tulip

Getting all arty with an expired roll of Rollei Ortho Plus 25 and a tulip in the garden that was in front of a white mesh covering on a raised bed. 

Ortho film basically doesn’t register (or registers more weakly) the red spectrum, which is important even if shouting black and white. It’s like old silent movie film stock, and why makeup had to be designed to ‘try’ to make Caucasian faces more natural. Ish. In photography it basically means anything on the red spectrum will be darker. 

Anyway, a dark purple tulip in the strong sunlight was always going to stand out…
