Not such a great view
Had a nice chilled morning at home - starting with a soak in the bath. I took my time packing my case, and after lunch Tim drove us to Barnstaple, with a good hour or so before my train to London - so that we could buy some tile grout and trim (for our little toilet room) and a broom, from the garden centre. Mission accomplished, he took me to the station and I caught the train to Exeter, and then on to London.
I got into Paddington at dinner time, so I went to Leon there and ate in the food court, before carrying on to Whitechapel, and walking to my hotel in Bethnal Green. There was a great sunset getting going as I walked, and some good glimpses of the London skyline, so I was hopeful for a good view from my hotel. Instead I got this (and only if I craned my neck all the way to the right). Ah well!
Chatted to Tim when I got into my room, then had a chilled evening and a not-too-late night.
