Life through the lens...

Pembrokeshire coastal path.

Our last day in Pembrokeshire and by chance we have saved the best till last.
Didn’t want to drive far today, and chose to visit Newport( Pembrokeshire) and go down to the tiny hamlet of Parrog.
What a find!
Now our very favourite place this holiday.
Just so beautiful, and peaceful.
Also like many places there was a small free carpark. I imagine it soon fills up in Summer but not today.

We walked part if the coast path to the East. Such lovely rocky coves below the steep sided cliffs.
The path was all ups and downs and so I left MrC on a seat overlooking the bay while I continued. This photo was taken from that path.

We returned to the car and then walked into Newport for lunch.
Superb seafood platter. ( see collage) At a tiny cafe called Blas at Fronlas.

Then walked the coast path along the estuary. Easy this time as all flat.
We saw curlews, numerous gulls and some delightful ringed plovers.

A wonderful last day with perfect weather.
Finished off with fish and chips in Goodwick where a huge cruise ship had docked in the bay.

Now to start packing as tomorrow we move back up to Llangollen for an overnight stop on the way home.

Pembrokeshire we will be back.

( extra collage of a few more photos taken today)
