Fritillary

That title eh? Well, I was listening to 'Blue Bell Knoll' early this morning whilst sitting in the sun and staring at the sea....and there's the musical link at the end still to come so, you know, it all fits. And besides, don't judge me for it ;-)

A fabulous afternoon at Dunagoil Bay for us this afternoon - straight in the sea for swimming, and then the drying in the sun and general lounging on the beach afterwards took us right up til it was time to walk to the pub for our tea (Bute venison burger since you ask, don't mind if I do) and then catch the last bus back to Rothesay. I say 'last', there is actually another one four hours after the 6.20pm one but, really, that is rather a long time to wait, and it's an eight mile walk home as well so, yeah, 6.20pm it is!

A walk back to the cottage from Rothesay via the lovely woodland walk, complete with some spectacular views of the Cowal Peninsula and over to the mainland.
