Best classroom ever

There are lots of ways to teach, even more ways to learn. I'm a firm believer that laughing, being engaged and sharing are the best possible tools to make both go well. 

I arrived early, made a coffee, lit the fire and showed Missy what was what. The light in the woods, the crisp air with that smell of future warmth all told me it was going to be a great day. It was.

Outdoor First Aid. Probably the most outdoor course I've run yet. We watched two videos, that was it for screen time. Sometimes understanding what the learners want is the best way to give them what they need. 

In extras; an unwelcome visitor, a great teachable moment.
