FevziPasa cats and more
What a jolly fun day! Gaby picked me (and Rufus) up just before 10am and we drove to BlueLagoon Fevzi Pasa for me to leave the woofer with John and Janice while Gaby and I went to Didim for shopping and other tasks. The weather was lovely warm sunshine and it was a completely successful trip including a tasty lunch at Park cafe with their Turkish cuisine home-cooking-like-mother-makes dishes for lunch which made Gaby very happy.
Satiated and with all errands completed we returned to Blue Lagoon site where I went to Gaby's apartment for a while and was so very happy to see Cleo, Nelson, Jessica, Marty and other feline friends all doing really well - and being fed on her balcony for as long as Gaby is here. All have been blipped many times in the past, all lovely garden cats and I miss them but they seem to be fine fit and healthy.
Leaving Gaby to work for the afternoon (online, she's an IB examiner) I went to John and Janice' villa and after a cup of tea took Rufus for his favourite walk, blipped so many times before when I lived here. Nelson came with us all the way there and back again, so the three of us had a lovely walk.
What little was left of the afternoon soon passed until just after six we all (Rufus, Janice, John, me and Gaby driving) went out for dinner. Sadly, Hina, our chosen restaurant, on the nearby Fevzi Pasa seafront, was unexpectedly closed - mid week maybe? - so we drove in to Akbuk and a very pleasant evening passed at Akvarium restaurant instead.
Expecting to eat locally at Hina, it was already arranged for me (and Rufus) to sleep over at Janice and John's place at Blue Lagoon tonight and so we stuck to the plan even though we drove past my home in Akbuk order to go back there, where, several night caps later, I eventually climbed the wooden (well, marble actually) hill to zzzz
